These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Interview Assistant AI.
You must agree to these Terms before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use Interview Assistant AI.
1. Operator
The service is operated under the name Interview Assistant AI. For service or legal questions, contact mail@interview-assistant-ai.com.
2. Service
Interview Assistant AI is a web-based AI product that may provide features such as:
- interview transcription;
- AI-generated responses and suggestions;
- interview-history functionality;
- uploaded resume, job-description, or Knowledge functionality;
- interview preparation and related tools;
- other functionality made available through the service.
Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued as the product develops.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Interview Assistant AI, including free or paid functionality. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information;
- maintaining access to and security of your account;
- activity performed through your account;
- notifying us if you reasonably believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You may not knowingly allow unauthorized use of your account.
5. Payments and Plans
Paid functionality may be offered through:
- one-time purchases;
- prepaid usage;
- subscription plans;
- other offers displayed on our Pricing or checkout pages.
Current prices, included usage, renewal terms, and relevant plan details are displayed before purchase.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
6. Subscriptions and Cancellation
Where a plan renews automatically, it continues according to the billing terms shown at purchase until cancelled.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals according to the applicable billing terms.
Cancellation does not automatically make previous payments refundable.
Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
7. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
Some functionality may allow you to connect credentials for a supported third-party AI provider.
If you use BYOK:
- you are responsible for maintaining the relevant third-party account and credentials;
- your use is also subject to the third-party provider's terms and policies;
- third-party usage or charges associated with your own provider account remain your responsibility.
8. AI-Generated Content
Interview Assistant AI uses AI systems to provide responses, suggestions, and related functionality.
AI-generated content may be:
- inaccurate;
- incomplete;
- outdated;
- unsuitable for a particular interview or situation.
You remain responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use AI-generated information.
Interview Assistant AI does not guarantee:
- interview success;
- employment;
- an offer;
- a particular hiring decision;
- any specific career or financial outcome.
9. Your Content
You retain your rights in content you provide to Interview Assistant AI.
As further described in the Privacy Policy, you authorize Interview Assistant AI and its service providers to process that content as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the service;
- maintain and secure the service;
- provide customer support;
- comply with applicable law.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misuse, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the service;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- use the service in violation of applicable law;
- infringe the rights of another person;
- deliberately abuse product functionality, free usage, payment systems, or refund processes;
- use Interview Assistant AI for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
You are responsible for complying with any rules, policies, employer requirements, interview rules, confidentiality obligations, or platform terms that apply in the context where you choose to use Interview Assistant AI.
Before recording, capturing, transmitting, or transcribing an interview or other conversation, you are responsible for obtaining all notices, consents, and permissions required by applicable law and by the rules of the interview, employer, organization, or platform involved. You must have the right to provide any audio, transcript, screenshot, document, or other content you submit, including information about other people.
Do not use the service where recording, transcription, AI assistance, or sharing confidential information is prohibited or has not been authorized. You are responsible for respecting confidentiality obligations and the rights of other participants. Your acceptance of these Terms does not provide consent on behalf of another participant or override applicable law or interview rules.
11. Availability and Product Changes
We work to keep Interview Assistant AI functional and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
Features, supported providers, models, usage limits, interfaces, and functionality may change as the product develops.
We may modify, replace, limit, or discontinue functionality where reasonably necessary.
12. Refunds
Refunds and subscription cancellations are governed by our current Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
13. Privacy
Use of Interview Assistant AI is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information is processed in connection with the service.
14. Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Interview Assistant AI is provided without guarantees that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual situation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- material violation of these Terms;
- unlawful or abusive use;
- security risk;
- fraud or payment abuse;
- legal or regulatory requirements.
Users may stop using the service at any time, subject to applicable subscription and payment terms.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, Interview Assistant AI, or your use of the service will be resolved exclusively by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Claims may be brought only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
This provision applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the product, commercial model, providers, or applicable requirements change.
The latest version and effective date will be published on the Interview Assistant AI website.
Where required by law or appropriate because of a material change, we may provide additional notice or request acknowledgement.
